Hi I’m Alli, the creator of Full of Wholesome.

I started this blog to share all of my healthy wholesome real food recipes and nutritional information that have helped me thrive. Full of wholesome simply means eating a wide variety of wholesome real foods. Our bodies need a variety of real foods to give us all the nutrition that we need to stay healthy. Choosing to strive to eat wholesome real foods will result in a nutritious healthy sustaining diet.

Eating wholesome real food nourishes and fuels your body!

What are real foods? Real food is food that is generally found in nature (vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts/seeds, meat/eggs/fish, dairy, and legumes/beans). They don’t have added sugars, preservatives, dyes, or artificially created like processed foods. Real food nourish and fuels our bodies.

Eating real foods is a lifestyle of eating rather than being temporary. It’s important to create healthy eating habits and choose the better option in what to eat. The more real foods you eat the better and nourish your body will feel. 

Healthy eating approach: Improving your health is a journey and nobody is perfect at it. Eating real wholesome foods should be your focus, but it’s important to not obsess over it or feel guilty if you don’t always eat real food. My approach is to eat wholesome real foods 80-90% of the time and eat intuitively.

Healthy eating isn’t the only thing that makes you healthy and happy. It’s important to focus on exercising + making every day a good day by choosing to be happy/grateful + doing what you love + getting good sleep + eating a balanced real food diet = a happy healthy wholesome life.

This blog is all about helping you and your family live healthier, wholesome, and happier lives. All the recipes here are easy to make and always focused on nutritious real foods.

You’ll also find me sharing the amazing health benefits of real wholesome foods, non-toxic living, health-related resources/tips to help you build healthy habits that last a lifetime. 

I hope to inspire a healthy lifestyle in others and help others see all the amazing benefits that real food and non toxic living can do in keeping our bodies healthy and happy.
